The EarthCam Mobile website and mobile application include an account management interface for viewing other member cams, receiving messages, posting news blogs, creating and editing a webcam favorites list, searching and sharing links with friends. EarthCam Mobile extends EarthCam's existing network of live webcams beyond the PC. From cameras that view local traffic and weather to cameras in scenic destinations, EarthCam Mobile provides members with a vast offering of real-time image content to watch on a mobile phone. Additionally, EarthCam Mobile allows camera phone users to instantly post mobile webcam pictures to a personal online album. Utilizing the Mobile Broadcaster software, members of EarthCam Mobile can broadcast and share their personal webcam with friends and family members. The Broadcaster enables members to produce a live broadcast from a PC-based webcam to a mobile phone and invite others to view the broadcast. Features of the Mobile Broadcaster include motion detection with SMS alerts, multiple skins for customization, and record with playback capability.
